Distances are approximate from downtown Waterville. Colby’s campus is separate from Main Street. Winslow is across the river; Belgrade and Rome require separate drives. French Mountain is in Rome, in the Belgrade Lakes region. Performances and paddling need their own arrangements; no lake rental, interior fort access or ticket is included. Use mapped walking trails in spring–fall. When snow is present, walking without snowshoes is restricted to Half Hitch and Devil’s Chair; check winter trail rules and closures first. Leash dogs; paddling requires separate equipment and planning.
