More than a lobster stop
At The Nor’Easter, a meal comes with a view across Northeast Harbor. Attached to the Kimball Terrace Inn, the restaurant overlooks the village green, harbor and Acadia’s mountains. It is a place to slow down between island adventures.
The lobsterman-owned restaurant combines a full bar with a specialty seafood market. Its local roots run through the business: co-founders Ronald Musetti and Adam Fraley bring backgrounds in lobstering and the maritime community to the table.
Find your kind of table
Seafood is part of the draw, with other choices for diners who prefer something different. Adam describes the cooking as focused on fresh ingredients, with much of the menu made from scratch. The restaurant’s website also lists a dog-friendly deck; confirm outdoor seating arrangements when you reserve.
Food preferences, thoughtfully checked
Adam reports that most of the menu is gluten free. The official menu lists gluten-free fried options and substitutions for handheld dishes. The kitchen also handles gluten, shellfish, dairy and nuts, and does not guarantee allergy-safe food. Discuss allergies and cross-contact directly with the restaurant before ordering.
Make it part of your Acadia day
Pair a meal with time in Northeast Harbor rather than rushing back across the island. Allow 60–90 minutes for dining plus travel time. Reservations are available through the restaurant’s website, and walk-ins are welcome according to Adam.
Before you go
Adam reports daily breakfast, lunch and dinner service from early May to late October. The website currently lists 8am–9pm; confirm service times, seasonal opening dates and table availability directly. No upcoming event dates have been confirmed for this profile.
